How to conduct research in this lab
Information technology plays a significant role in our daily lives. I expect each member of this lab to sincerely consider the notion of security, privacy and fairness, and perform research based on these criteria.
In the research lab, I encourage active discussions where members respect each other's opinions. The field of information security covers a wide area of technologies in various depths. When we consider security, privacy and fairness, we should not think only in the scope of computer science, but also bring knowledge from other disciplines as well. We are all aware that an individual, including myself, has limited knowledge. Therefore, it is important to share our experiences and knowledge, respect diverse backgrounds, and engage in constructive discussions as a team so we can achieve better results. Let's enjoy our time together and contribute our research to society.
