Research Theme

Our laboratory is exploring services that emphasize security and privacy, centering on cryptographic protocols and blockchains.


Cryptographic Protocols

We have been discussing the specifications of Exposure Notification (COVID contact notification) API by Google and Apple, the mechanism of electronic stamp and its issues.


Blockchain

Research on lightweight distributed ledger technology that uses automatic division and distributed layout of the ledger and technology that distributes authentication with small terminals


Laboratory overview

In our laboratory, we would like you to focus on what you want to do.

blockchain/distributed ledger. Students who are interested in making rules for technology, Self Sovereign Identity, threats caused by IT technology and their countermeasures.


Seminar

For the spring semester of 2023, we are planning to have an general meeting every Monday 4th preod. We will be also offering a variety of courses according to the interests of each student.

  • A round-trip reading of the fundamentals of cryptography theory
  • A round-trip reading of Security Engineering 3rd edition by Prof. Anderson
  • Research assistance on SSI (Self Sovereign Identity)
