Our laboratory is exploring services that emphasize security and privacy, centering on cryptographic protocols and blockchains.
We have been discussing the specifications of Exposure Notification (COVID contact notification) API by Google and Apple, the mechanism of electronic stamp and its issues.
Research on lightweight distributed ledger technology that uses automatic division and distributed layout of the ledger and technology that distributes authentication with small terminals.
In our laboratory, we would like you to focus on what you want to do.
In particular, we are looking for students who are interested in cryptographic protocols, security evaluation, blockchain/distributed ledgers, rule making for technology, Self Sovereign Identity, threats caused by IT technology and their countermeasures, and students who want to pursue what you want to do.
For the Fall Semester of 2024, the Sako Lab plans to hold a weekly seminar on Wednesdays during 4th period.
Additionally, we will conduct a reading group on Mondays during 4th period, focusing on Professor Anderson’s book.
If you have any requests, we would appreciate it if you could let us know in advance during the interview or open house.
